10-String Conversion
1975 Ramirez 1a
Here are some BEFORE photos of my 1975
6-string Ramirez 1a, before the 10-string conversion process.
Click here for the AFTER photos.
CONDITION
This guitar is has some repaired cracks, and a very low
bridge saddle, and the saddle slot has been filed down to lower
the action. The guitar has been refinished in French Polish.
Also, the fingerboard looks like it may have been removed at
one time. The conversion should raise the bridge saddle, giving
the guitar a good break angle, and at the same time lowering
the action.
THE SOUND
This is a great-sounding guitar, with a big, warm Ramiez
sound, with excellent resonance. This will of course be greatly
enhanced with the addition of 4 additional strings.
