1980s VANTAGE VIE-10 BK Strat Copy IN STOCK
MIK, Very Good Condition
Quality Tonewoods, Sealed Tuners
Width: 1 11/16" (42.2) mm Weight: 6 Lbs., 10 Oz.
Up for sale is a Vantage VIE-10 BK black Strat copy. This guitar is is in surprisingly good condition for the late 1980s, and is made from high quality tonewoods, and also top-quality hardware.
There are 2 versions of this guitar out there, the good one like this one, then a cheaper version with a scarf joint on the neck, no string tree, 3-screw TRC, single ply black pick guard, and cheap tuners. I originally thought this was MIJ Matsumoku, as it is clearly high-quality, but I can't verify this from any Vantage catalogs, so this guitar is Made in Korea, and the other, lower-quality, cheaper version is MIC.
The guitar is in very good overall condition, with only a few minor nicks, dings & scratches that you can expect to be normally seen in a 35-year-old guitar. The tonewoods are really high-quality, as you can see in the neck and the fingerboard, and the workmanship is excellent, and the hardware includes higher-grade, sealed tuners. The guitar plays great, sounds great, has very little wear on the frets. It does not come with a case.
