Here is a very nice 80s VANTAGE VE-545 ENTERTAINER guitar. It is very similar in both construction and electronics to the VLP-500 series, as it also has an arched ply top covering a solid mahogany body, with MMK-45 PUPs with coil-taps. The F-Holes are mostly ornamental, and actually represent small chambers, some are only partial, being just about 1/2" deep.

This is a fantastic sounding and playing guitar, and represents a mid-level, yet still very high high-quality MIJ / Matsumoku guitar, from the era when they were also making the high-end Epiphones for Gibson, precursors to the Epi Elite series.
