Upgraded w/NOS RT French Military 12AT7 Tubes from 1963

Up for consideration is a mint, never-racked, Presonus ADL600 mic preamp --upgraded with a set of 12AT7 NOS French Military tubes. This tube amp design is from the hand of the very well-respected audio designer Fred Forssell, who designed it for Anthony DiMaria Labs, who then licensed it to Prosonus. The end result is a very high-end piece, in the clean/transparent vein, yet with plenty of tube warmth and sheen, and endless headroom. In addition, the 2 gain stages, impedance switching, line level conditioning make this a very versatile tone machine for tracking, mixing and mastering. To top it off, a set of 12AT7 NOS vintage 1963 tubes lets the design work its magic to its full potential (Original JJ 12AT7 tubes also included). New, these units were going for $2,195 before they were discontinued last year, and here is a great opportunity to get one in perfect working condition -- with only about 20 hours on it --plus the NOS tubes upgrade -- and still save $1,200!!!
