Up for consideration is a new-in-box Neumann KH 120 monitor, the small-sized, yet deceptively loud monitor that is both accurate, yet natural sounding, with great detail and imaging, and very smooth and tight bass . These have a wide sweet-spot, and are perfect for smaller control rooms, yet work also well with an added sub if you need the bass extension. Mixes translate extremely well on these, and are great for both tracking and mixing -- and are still relatively affordable considering build quality and construction, plus the Pro Studio quality sound they consistently deliver.
