Professional DAT Recorder for Studio / Archival

Up for consideration is a used JVC JS-DT900 professional rack mount DAT tape recorder, in good condition. The unit come from a pro studio environment where analog recordings were mixed down to DAT tape for mastering. Even though these DAT units are no longer in widespread use, if you ever have a need to pull an archived DAT tape to remaster or re-release, this could be a great unit to convert the tapes to either analog 2-track or to a digital file. Sold As-Is, since I do not have any DAT tapes to test it with, but the unit was working fine when it was last used about 8 years ago. These are high-quality, made in Japan decks, with hefty parts for pro use.
