Up for sale is a vintage 1965 Maestro Short Arm Vibrola unit, complete with the arm, mounting plate, spring, spacers and even the original screws. It is rare to find the complete vibrola unit for sale with all the original parts intact, including the original black felt padding under the spring unit!! The vibrola came from a 1965 Melody Maker, and will fit the SG Special, SG Junior and Melody Makers from the mid 60s, and was probably used on other Gibson models as well.

The unit is is extremely good condition for 1965, and has no known issues. The unit has both plastic washers intact, as well as the tightening screw, so the unit can spin around to get the desired tightness in a fixed position, or can hang loose, if desired. The vibrola looks and operates fantasticly, and should be perfect for a vintage Gibson restoration. I have never seen one looking this clean, or this new. The guitar it came from was a closet-sitter for 50 years, so it is really a remarkable find.
