Up for a sale is a vintage Gibson 1960s SG case in good working condition. It came with a 1962 SG Special, so I'm pretty sure it is from 1962. Everything works fine on the case, it is slightly arched arched, which is unusual for a softshell case, but that is what Gibson did for the entry level SG case, back in the Glory Years.

The latches all work, and the case compartment is fully operational, and includes the Gibson nameplate. The case is in fair condition, with some repairs to the stitching and a gash in the top, but this is par for the course for being 60 years old -- and shows the damage it spared from hitting the guitar!! The latches have some oxidation and tarnish, but all work fine -- as well as the handle -- and the felt lining is also intact, but showing signs of wear. No actual guitar is included.

All in all, a perfectly functional vintage SG case, that not only is the period correct vintage case for a 1960s SG Junior or Special, but is also a perfectly functional travel / storage case, with many more miles of use still ahead.
