Have you ever noticed that the best sounding guitars are not necessarily all that great looking? Here is a perfect example, this one of the best playing, and best sounding Les Pauls I have ever heard, thanks to the the vintage 1985 tonewoods, and the Shaw PAF reissue pickups.

This guitar plays great with low action, and sounds just like you imagine in your head what a great Les Paul should sound like!! Cosmetically, you can tell that this guitar has seen a lot of playing time. It looks to me that this guitar has also seen a lot of professional stage time, as this guitar has lots of wear and dings that you can only get from 3 decades of constant, professional use. Plus it sounds so good, this is the guitar you would want to gig with. The guitar is missing the original Pick Guard, replacement Grover tuners and the PU rings have been switched out, and the PU covers are pretty new, having been replaced by a previous owner.

There are numerous dings, scratches, and finish checking that can be seen in the photos, but on the flip side, the guitars sounds f'ing amazing, and plays like a dream. Trust me, all the cosmetic flaws seen here will go away the minute you plug in in let'er rip!! The case is vintage 1970s Gibson, but was made for a more shallow neck angle, so this case needs additional support under the headstock for transporting to/from gigs.
