Up for sale is a set of vintage 1970 Gibson Mini HBs that came from a 1961 Melody Maker, that was modded for mini HBs back in 1970. The set of 2 Mini HB pickups work perfectly, and have nicely staggered output for installation in the Bridge + Neck positions. These come from the 1961 Melody Maker with some modifications done to PUPs to fit the particular install. One of the surrounds has been filed down to overlap a bit of the original MM pickguard. One of the PUPs has the feet been drilled out for beefier adjustment screws (included), and it looks like 1x of the base plates was switched out as it has taller feet and no Patent # sticker. One of the leads looks like it has a connecting wire on the braided ground cloth, as if the ground connection had frayed and was soldered back together along with a lead connecting wire. I was not around when the mods were originally made, so I'm giving you the best info I have based on physical examination. The pickups are solid, and sound great.
