Here is a Centralab 500k pot, with original Washers and Nut, from the 51st week of 1965, and measures at 624. The pot works flawlessly, with no bad contacts, pops, or scatchy sounds. This pot was only installed in this one guitar over its lifetime. I have also left it as I found it, complete with the original soldier, just in case the composition of solder has changed since then, so you may be able to re-use the existing solder.
