|* SOLD * Vintage Early 1960s Gibson Lightning Bolt Bridge * SOLD *
for SG Special, Jr, Melody Maker + Others
Nickel Plated, W/2x Set Screws
Here is something you don't see every day, a vintage early 1960s nickel-plated, Gibson lightning-bolt compensated bridge for SG Junior, SG Special, Melody Maker and other Gibson / Epi early 60s models using the wraparound combination bridge / tailpiece for non-angled bridge studs. Set screws are included, as seen in the photos. This bridge has a beautiful vintage patina that only nickel-plating can give you, and this was used by Gibson from 1962-64, before they shifted to the more garish chrome plating in 1965. Bridge does have light string-slots filed, professionally done, and looks great overall, with no major pitting or flaws, and should be perfect for a vintage Gibson restoration.
