Both Pots from the 48th Week, 1961
Close Tolerance Range

Here is something you don't see every day, a 2x Centralab 500k pot set from the same 48th week of 1961, AND the tolerances are still close to each other, AND they have not drifted very far, if at all, from the original 500k spec!!These came from the same guitar, a cherry red 1962 SG Special, and you can still see some of the finish residue on the shaft.

These pots were only installed in this one guitar over their lifetime. I have also left them as I found them, complete with the original soldier, just in case the composition of solder has changed since then, so you may want to re-use the existing solder. The pots both work flawlessly, with no bad contacts, pops, or scatchy sounds.
