Up for sale is an older MTG / Neumann Gefell MV692 with the 3-pattern UM70 capsule. This is the version that has the MV692 factory installed P48 phantom power module, and the transformer, and the UM70 switchable omni, cardioid, and figure 8 pattern M7 capsule. He UM70 head unscrews and other capsules in the series can be used with the MV692 body. Often considered as a lower-cost alternative to the studio standard U87, the UM70 is indeed a versatile mic that can also be used almost universally, and sounds good on just about any source -- and is often a favorite on vocals and acoustic guitar.

The mic is in good condition, and functions without any issues. There is a slight indentation on the silver-side of the head grill, and there are some wear marks, but is overall pretty clean and sounds great. Does not come with a box.
