Here is an unusual guitar -- a 2004 Epiphone Elitist Les Paul Custom, that has been upgraded with genuine Gibson 2004 Les Paul Custon parts, including the 490R / 498T pups, ABR-1 bridge and posts, and the stop tailpiece. This is the top-of-the line Epi Elitist solid body electric, and as such, they have reserved their best tonewoods for this model, and it shows. The guitar absolutely sustains like the best Gibson Les Pauls, and the notes ring long and loud with amazing, authentic tone. This is also due in part to the fact that the guitar has had the PUPs / Bridge / tailpiece upgraded to Gibson, all from the same 2004 Gibson Les Paul Custom. The guitar has a medium neck profile that plays nicely, and the guitar really is about as close as you can get to sounding identical to a real Gibson LPC, but without paying the additional $2k in price. There are a few dings on the guitar, but it is overall clean, and plays great, and sounds fantastic. Does not come with a case.
