This case features an ultra-sturdy 6-ply hardwood shell with Arched top, burgundy trim, brass hardware, and a compression-fit foam suspension system to offer maximum protection for your new or vintage instrument. Also, it has a humidity control system with digital hygrometer, and silica pellets / humidifier for keeping the humidity inside the case close to the ideal constant of 50%. It is not easy to find a beefy, high-end case for F-size mandolins, and here is one of the best ones currently made available for immediate purchase. In short, this case represents one of the very best cases on the market today for A-and F-style mandolins. It protects the mandolin from handling associated with travel, and it seals andalso protects from swings in temperature and humidity. If you find that the humidity exceeds the normal range of around 50%, simply install a silica gel packet in the case compartment. If the humidity falls too low past 40%, you can add a few drops of water to the humidifier until the humidity climbs back up to around 50%.
