Up for consideration is a vintage 1988 Yamaha Recording Custom 10" x 10" rack tom, with Yamaha mount and a new Evans G2 batter head. These vintage 1980s RC snare drums are highly coveted for recording studios, as the Hokkaido Birch has had 30 years of gradual aging, and through gentle use has had the time to develop superior tone. New, the Sakae Almighty Birch -- the OEM makers of the Yamaha Recording Custom -- sells for thousands of dollars more -- so here is your chance to pick up a great-sounding, vintage collectable, Recording Custom 10" x 10 " tom in excellent condition!!!

CONDITION
This tom is in excellent condition, with only some minor signs of use from 3 decades of playing. Click HERE for additional 1270 Hi-Res photos. The hardware and shell is in excellent condition, with just some minot pitting on the bottom hoop, and everything functions perfectly. This tom drum has no issues, and sounds great.
