Amber
Up for consideration is a recent model PRS SE Korina One / Vintage Mahogany electric guitar with gig bag. This Korina / P-90 combination makes for a straight-forward guitar with some single-coil sparkle, for a great guitar at a surprisingly low price. New, these Korine SE One's are selling for $495 each but have recently been discontinued, so here is a great opportunity to pick up a Vintage Amber model -- still with the plastic wrap on the pick guard -- and save about $200!!!

NO-FRILLS SOUND
The PRS SE Korina One Vintage Amber is by nature a rather straight-forward guitar with 1 P-90, 1 knob. What it lacks in controls though, it is made up for with beautiful appointments, starting with the lovely beveled Korina body and neck (refinished in tung oil -- see below), bound rosewood fingerboard with Bird inlays. The Vintage Amber finish allows you to appreciate the wood grain of the Korina wood.

CONDITION
The guitar is in near-mint condition overall with some very minor scratches from regular studio use. The plastic protection sheet is still covering the pick guard. The previous owner had the finish on the neck buffed down to the wood for a more natural playing feel, and has been replaced with a natural tung oil finish. The neck is very smooth and easy to play with no dings or repairs, but was a choice based on personal preference based on the feel of playing the guitar, as the natural oil finish feels more like playing a 1960s vintage guitar, which is what he was used to, and wanted to match. This guitar plays and looks great.
