Mic Case
Up for consideration is an original vintage 1970s mic case for a Neumann U87 mic, including the original key. These vintage Neumann 87 mics are still extremely popular (Abbey Road has 17 of them!!!), and they often fetch higher prices than the newer AI models. Here is a great opportunity to get the Original vintage 1970s Neumann leather U87 case to keep these babies properly cared for so they can keep cranking out the hits for the next several decades!!!

CONDITION
This case came from a London TV studio where they had 30 U87s back in the day. This case is in very good condition overall, with a only minor imperfections, with the missing Neumann badge and tape residue on the top being the worst offender. This usually comes off with a drop of GOOF OFF, but my can is unfortunately empty at the moment. There are no tears, cuts scratches or other unsightly blemishes, and so this is still a very smart-looking mic case for being around 40 years old.
FEATURES
This will elegantly house a U87 or U87AI, and the lock works fine, and the key is included. Serial # is labeled as C 27320. The interior leather hinge, felt, and the molded hard-form cradle are perfect. It opens and closes like new, feels so solid, that you don't even have to read the label to know that it is Made in Germany.
