Up for sale is a vintage 1973 Altec 655A dynamic in good condition. This one was designed for flat response for recording acoustic instruments, especially guitars and drums and "organ speakers" according to the written description from the 1973 Altec catalog (see photo). The vintage dynamic mics are a lot of fun to own and use, as they are often useful for several thinmgs, and don't cost too much money. This model also has a wonderful industrial design that might be inspirational in itself. The mic is hefty, and built like a tank. No case is included.
