Up for consideration is a brand new Neumann WS87 windscreen for U87Ai and TLM67, as well as the older U87 and U67 mics. This is designed to work as a pop filter on vocals, and also as a wind screen for outdoor use when noise from wind could be a factor. Also works to cut any air noise from being moved on a boom pole. Does not cause any interfering resonances, and does not degrade the directional polar pattern. The upper frequency range is slightly attenuated. Wind noise attenuation = 26 dB; Attenuation at 15 kHz = 3 dB; Diameter = 90 mm. No actual microphone included. Made in Germany.
